Terms of Service

WriteOffOS is a software platform that helps real estate operators, syndicators, firms, and the CPAs who serve them organize financial documents, flag potential tax deductions, and prepare a review-ready package for a qualified tax professional. Access is provided on a subscription basis. WriteOffOS is informational software — it does not provide tax, legal, accounting, or investment advice, and it does not prepare or file returns.

By creating an account or using a portal link, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Disclaimer.

You agree not to:

• Use the platform to upload unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the platform.
• Share your login credentials or portal links with unauthorized parties.
• Use the platform for any purpose other than legitimate tax preparation and financial organization.
• Circumvent security controls, rate limits, or access restrictions.

WriteOffOS assists with document organization and deduction discovery — it does not replace professional judgment. Every tax position surfaced by WriteOffOS must be reviewed and approved by a qualified CPA or tax advisor before it is filed or relied upon. Whether you are an operator, syndicator, firm, or the CPA serving them, the reviewing tax professional remains solely responsible for:

• Reviewing and approving all AI-generated analysis before it is filed or relied upon.
• Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of any tax filing.
• Complying with IRS regulations, state tax laws, and professional standards (including, for CPAs, the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct).
• Maintaining the confidentiality of client and investor data in accordance with applicable law.

If you subscribe as an operator or firm without an in-house CPA, you are responsible for engaging a qualified tax professional to review WriteOffOS output before acting on it.

CPA firm subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Failure to pay may result in suspension of service.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

You retain ownership of all data you upload to WriteOffOS. By uploading content, you grant WriteOffOS a limited license to process that data solely to provide the service. We do not claim ownership of your financial documents or analysis outputs.

You may request deletion of your data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WRITEOFFOS AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

WriteOffOS makes no warranties — express or implied — that AI-generated analysis is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular tax purpose.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
